About Us
Boland Prosthetic & Orthotic Center (BPOC) is an independent O&P/DME provider. We first opened our doors in Warner Robins, Georgia, in 1998. In 2004 we moved into our new facility at 110 Osigian Blvd. We are accredited by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics (ABC). This award represents the highest level of accreditation available in the profession of Orthotics and Prosthetics.
We accept Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurances. We are also contract providers for the Veteran's Administration and Vocational Rehab.
The Team
Paul Boland, CPO
Paul Boland is American Board Certified and Georgia Licensed in Orthotics and Prosthetics. He received his bachelors degree in biology from the College of Charleston in South Carolina and completed his certification in Orthotic and Prosthetics at Newington Children's Hospital which is affiliated with the University of Connecticut. Paul is also an active member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists.
Joey Johnson, CO
Joey began his O&P career in 1995 as an Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician. He has extensive experience in the fabrication of custom made orthotics and prosthetic devices. Joey completed his BOC certification in Orthotics in 2004 and the following year achieved ABC certification in Orthotics. His thorough understanding of biomechanics and the application of orthopedic braces enables him to provide a wide range of orthotic solutions to various clinical cases. Joey joined Boland Prosthetic & Orthotic Center in July, 2008.
Melissa Scarboro, CFOM
Melissa began her O&P career in 1999, when she began working as an office manager for a O&P facility in Columbus, Georgia. Melissa is an ABC Certified Registered Fitter of Orthotics and Mastectomy products (CFOM). Melissa joined our team at BPOC in 2003 and is our Patient Administrator and Billing Assistant.
